Dynamic Content Overview

The Dynamic Content section within the app appears as shown below. By default, all check boxes are selected, indicating that all tags associated with the dynamic content will be displayed in your store for any products applicable.

Data Here-to-There Inc. | Dynamic Content Overview

Your product tags should like something like this:

Data Here-to-There Inc. | Dynamic Content Overview

All of the tags are to assist with web design.  For example, if you want to add a note to a product (i.e. This product is special order, please allow for 10-15 days delivery) because it is “special order” you can use the SpecialOrder:Y tag.  The other tags are there to support the store – Prop65, Carb, etc.

We use the Turn 14 part number for the SKU.  This is required for placing orders. The MPN is added to a tag which can be used in your product pages.  We have some sample code that you can use to embed these in the product pages.  Each theme is different so this might require some adjustments:

<ul class=”product-tags”>
{% for tag in product.tags %}
{% if tag contains ‘MPN’ %}
<li>Manufacturer Part Number: {{ tag | slice: 4,100}}</li>
{% endif %}
{% endfor %}
</ul>

Enable fitment tablesThis is a way for customers to verify that they’re buying the right part. Here is an example of a fitment table as it would appear in your store if you have this box checked in your Content settings
Enable Turn 14 Distribution CategoriesYou need to have this box checked if you want  to create T14-based collections in your store. Once you have verified that this box is checked in your Content section, you also need to enable the specific Collections you would like in your store’s  admin section. You can create collections based on desired categories from Turn 14 Distribution.
Enable Turn 14 Distribution category path tagThis gives you an alternative to creating collections using the categories method shown above. Instead of creating the Turn 14 category as a collection, we can create categories by using tags. This can be helpful to your web designer, who can use these tags to organize products in your store. Some Shopify themes or navigation plugins can use these tags to help your store customers further narrow down their product searches.
Enable Prop65 tagsThese tags will show up as “Prop65:Y” or “Prop65:N” in your product tags. Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment.
Enable Special Order tagsAnother Y/N tag. If you want to include a note saying that something will take longer, or any other type of special order as defined by T14, such as the product not being in stock when you order it, or it will need to be made on demand by T14 so the customer would have to wait — then you should check this box.
Enable Turn 14 Distribution ID tagsLook for tags that look like this: TURN14_<ID>. All Turn 14 products should have a unique Distribution ID tag. Check this box if you want your customers to be able to see the Turn 14 ID tags.
Enable Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) tagsLeave this box checked if you want tags to show whether products are EPA compliant.
Enable Less Than Load (LTL) tagsThese also show up as either “Y” or “N”. LTL products tend to be very large and heavy, like axles, bumpers, fenders, hoods, grills and doors. LTL means “Less than load”. If set to “Y” then the purchasing customer will be charged full LTL rates for any such products to ship, so some store owners like to exclude these products to avoid large shipping and delivery charges.
Enable California Air Resources Board (CARB) tagsThe California Air Resources Board focuses on California’s unique air quality challenges by setting the state’s own stricter emissions standards for a range of statewide pollution sources including vehicles, fuels and consumer products. If this box is checked, CARB products will be tagged as such.
Enable Manufacturer Part Number (MPN) tagsIf this is checked then the MPN (original manufacturer part number) tag will show on products that contain this information in their data.
Enable Convermax fitment tagsConvermax has an excellent YMM search app which can be integrated into your Turn 14 Distribution app. If you are using Convermax to integrate fitment details into your product listings, you can check this box to enable Convermax tags to appear in your product data.
