DH2T staffers Stephanie Benger, Brennan Christman, and Ada Broughton recently had the chance to witness the excitement of the Street Outlaws “No Prep kings” drag racing event at Rad Torque Raceway in Edmonton. The event was a showcase of raw power and racing prowess, although the Canadian air seemed to challenge the American Street Outlaw vehicles, as several struggled to make it down the track initially.
This led to some negotiations between the Canadian and American teams, resulting in a series of intense grudge races. A highlight of the evening was the victory of Shawn Ellington’s Murder Nova, a powerful beast that left the crowd in awe despite the defeat of the Canadian black Nova. The sheer power of these cars was evident during the burnouts, where the force of the engines visibly blew back many audience members from the rails.
