What’s New at DH2T: SEMA Highlights and AIMExpo Preview

With SEMA wrapped and AIMExpo just ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be a big year for dealers ready to boost parts sales and grow beyond local boundaries. DH2T is helping shops do exactly that with automation, smarter tools, and an e-commerce system that works seamlessly with their DMS. If you’re heading to AIMExpo, swing by booth 829, catch Stephanie Benger’s Tech Talk, and see how dealers are scaling faster and selling more with less effort.
AimExpo 2026 - DH2T Booth Number: 829

It’s been a busy and exciting start to the season for the DH2T team. From a standout presence at SEMA 2025 earlier this month to gearing up for AIMExpo in just a few weeks, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes — and even more coming for our powersports dealer community.

This momentum is also fueled by a major milestone for our company: DH2T is now an official Shopify Plus Partner, reinforcing our commitment to delivering enterprise-level e-commerce solutions built specifically for the aftermarket automotive and powersports industries.

SEMA 2025: Our Biggest Showing Yet

Earlier this November, DH2T attended the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, connecting with partners, dealers, and industry leaders from across the automotive and powersports space.

This year’s energy was incredible: more engagement, more questions around e-commerce, and a huge appetite from dealers wanting to understand how modern platforms like Shopify and Shopify Plus, combined with inventory automation and dropshipping, can expand their business well beyond local boundaries.

We also took time at the booth to reconnect with dealers using our Shopify/DH2T apps-based Shop-in-a-Box solution, and the feedback was incredibly validating. As one dealer put it:

“I’m not a tech guy. I’m comfortable with the computer, but I’m more comfortable with the wrench. If you’re like me and trying to connect an e-commerce site with a data source like Motor State, I strongly recommend these guys.” — Troy Harrison, Harrison Motorsports.

SEMA set the tone, and now we’re carrying that momentum into the start of 2026.

AIMExpo 2026: Only Weeks Away

AIMExpo is coming up fast — less than two months away — and DH2T will be back again with both a booth and two major speaking engagements.

The 2026 American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo), North America’s largest powersports trade show, will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California.

Tech Talk Details

  • Presenter: Stephanie Benger
  • Date: Thursday, January 8
  • Time: 11:30 AM
  • Topic: DMS + E-commerce for Powersports Dealers

What Dealers Will Learn

Stephanie will guide dealers through:

  • How e-commerce fits into traditional DMS-driven operations
  • Why selling online doesn’t replace local sales but strengthens them and helps you expand your reach nationally and internationally
  • How the Powersports Shop-in-a-Box solution syncs inventory, pricing, and product details seamlessly
  • How dealers across North America use automation and dropshipping to scale profitably
  • Real success stories from shops that expanded from local-only to nationwide reach.

This session is designed to give dealers a clear, actionable roadmap, and no technical background is required. If you’ve ever wondered whether e-commerce is “too complicated” or “not worth it,” this talk will change your mind.

Alongside her Tech Talk, Stephanie will also bring her expertise to a featured panel discussion designed to help dealers strengthen their digital sales strategy.

E-Commerce Panel: Capturing Customers Who Don’t Want to Come In

Stephanie will join the AIMExpo 2026 panel titled “E-Commerce: Capturing Customers Who Don’t Want to Come In,” held on the Dealer Excellence Stage in partnership with MPN.

Dealer Success Stories: New Stores Launched

We’re also excited to celebrate two new dealer stores recently launched through Powersports Shop-in-a-Box — both already generating momentum online:

Powersports HavenNathan Hadley’s new store

Powersport Parts DirectScott Scott Rowbotham’s fully automated online parts store

These stores are powered by automated catalog sync, real-time pricing updates, and nationwide dropshipping, giving dealers the ability to sell more parts without manually managing thousands of SKUs.

Amazon Is Not an Online Automotive or Powersports Parts Store

Amazon isn’t built to serve automotive or powersports customers, and it never will be. Dealers are the true specialists, and the gap between what Amazon offers and what a dealership can deliver is wider than most realize. Your expertise, fitment knowledge, and customer relationships are your edge — if you bring them online.
